Intruder's scheduled scans ensure your systems are checked for weaknesses on a regular basis. But what if you've deployed a fix for an issue we found and want to check that it has actually been resolved? That's where Intruder's Scan now functionality comes in.

Where can I find the button?

The most prominent is the green button at the top right of the dashboard:

The scans page is another option:

You can also start scans from the targets page:

What targets get scanned?

By default, when you click "Scan now", it will start a scan on all your targets:

Or, if you want to scan individual tags or targets, just select them from the dropdown menu before you click "Scan now":

Once the results are in, we'll notify you and the portal will be updated, with the option to download a report.

If you're currently on Essential, but want to scan on demand then go to the Billing page to upgrade.
